Most visitors start their day at Shuishe. The Taiwan Tourist Shuttle drops off passengers directly at the visitor center. From this hub, you can rent bicycles, board the hop-on hop-off ferries, or store your bags in local lockers.
The terrain here is flat and family-friendly. It links directly to the Huanhu Bikeway, which runs along the water toward the Xiangshan Visitor Center.

This is the primary ferry terminal for the lake. The busy area features numerous bike rental shops, hotels, and restaurants. Leave your heavy luggage at the lockers near the visitor center before boarding a boat.

This avant-garde architectural site features curved lines that blend into the lakeside landscape. The building serves as an information hub and a rest stop. Visit the cafe here to enjoy local Assam black tea with clear lake views.
30 minutesWalk bikes on planks
This popular walkway offers wide reflections of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It forms a key section of the lakeside bikeway. Cyclists must dismount and walk their bikes across the wooden planks for safety.
