No. General entry to the scenic area is free. You only pay for transport, such as ferries, shuttle buses, and ropeways.
A 1-day hop-on hop-off passenger ferry pass costs around NT$300. It allows unlimited rides between Shuishe, Xuanguang Temple, and Ita Thao piers.

The tour is well organized and ran very smoothly. Good balance of coverage around Taiwan. Alan, our guide, is great, very knowledgable and approachable, with excellent English and presentation skill. Very enjoyable experience.
This tour is a great way to explore around Taiwan in 5 days. Alan was an entertaining host, ensuring we were well looked after along the way. Bus was safe and comfortable and the hot spring hotels were a fantastic way to finish the day.
Very good experience with a fabulous small group international tourist. Tour guide Ah Jun, the 3rd party guide working for KKDAY travel agency in Taichong was amazing. So pattionate on his job and went all his way out to please his customers!
